As children near the end of their preschool years, they display independence and imagination. They participate in lengthy conversations with correct grammar and complex sentences, asking questions to keep the conversation going. Preschoolers are starting to recognize numbers and letters, make letter-sound connections, and will be writing their names, some letters, and may use invented spelling. Preschoolers are able to learn new math concepts related to their day and regularly compare numbers, size, and length. They understand counting and can identify many shapes. Calendar concepts and knowledge of weather and seasons are developed. Watching children move from preschool to kindergarten is an exciting time for parents and teachers!
Our nurturing preschool teachers share the school’s vision to promote Spiritual knowledge, develop emotional growth and cultivate life readiness. Our school mission and vision begin with preschool and continue through 5th Grade.
