Welcome to our school’s website. I trust that you will find the information you are looking for easily, as well as helpful and informative. I am pleased to highlight the many ways that MSPCS exemplifies its mission — embodied in three simple words: Faith, Virtue, and Knowledge. MSPCS is indeed a unique place that combines a rigorous academic program taught by an exceptional faculty who intentionally integrate the Arts in and out of the classroom.
As I enter my third year as headmaster of this school, I am extremely proud of the transformations that have occurred at our school. To the parents, grandparents and friends, I thank you for your partnership. To the School Commission, I thank you for your vision and leadership. To the faculty and staff, I thank you for your dedication, your passion for learning, and your inspiration to our students. To the students, you are why we come every day. Thank you for accepting your role as learners; I am inspired by your growth and willingness to work hard. Thank you all for what we have been able to accomplish together as a team of professional educators.
What a privilege it is to serve . . . what a responsibility it is to lead.
From Mark 10:43-44 we read: “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.” The Lord commands us to be servant leaders, and I trust that as we partner together in this glorious adventure we call Christ inspired schooling, that you will all come to know the difference that is Miami Shores Presbyterian Church School.
Our mission is clear, “To offer a Christ inspired educational experience that empowers students to reach their full potential in life, where academic excellence is nurtured and students are treasured and respected.” In short, we seek to inspire students to go beyond!
For those who are just beginning the process of getting to know our school community, we can say that we are ever mindful of the magnificent opportunity we have each and every day to make a difference in the lives of our students.
